On 30th November 2024 we held the first Kivukoni Eco Festival, with over 1300 people coming together to celebrate nature and community.
The programme featured 40 sessions on varied topics, from food security, beekeeping and the power of women to save the world, through to animal yoga, soil stewardship and Kenya's take on COP29. In addition, some incredible music, art, dance and storytelling was on offer, with over 50 ecological vendors and an eco film zone.
In the spirit of active hope, we will be holding an 'action focused symposium' every other year, to put into practice the findings of the festival.
Details of this event will be released soon.
